NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene is seeking a Field Research Assistant to support the Environmental Investigations and Enforcement Unit. You will assist with scheduling inspections, log field staff activities, and help manage data across program databases.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, data accuracy, and use of Microsoft Office tools. Acknowledges equity commitments and potential remote work options based on position and department policy.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or higher with 6+ months research data experience.
• Alternative: 60 credits and 2.5 years research data experience.
• High school diploma with 4+ years research data experience.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with scheduling field appointments for Inspectors.
• Log field staff arrival/departure calls.
• Research landlord/tenant information.
• Enter data into LeadQuest or other databases.
• Review documents and input data into databases.
• Review lab reports for EPA license validity.
• Review 311 complaints for validity; follow up with complainants.
• Prepare and send correspondence.
