Job summary

Rite Rug Co seeks a motivated Field Representative in Nashville, TN. The successful candidate will inspect homes and projects before, during and after installations, verify readiness, monitor installers, and ensure completion with quality.

You will measure, check work orders, and ensure materials cover all installation needs. Role requires driving between sites, coordinating with customers and project managers, and maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Flooring installation experience is a plus; construction experience is helpful.
• Commitment to safety in all work practices.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance required.
• Reliable vehicle to travel to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers and project managers on a daily basis.
• Drive from jobsite to jobsite – planning and prioritizing each day.
• Schedule work to be done efficiently.
• Determine best method of installations and repairs.
• Ensure the job is completed to the customer’s satisfaction.
• Respond to complaints or questions regarding installations.
• Pick up and deliver materials as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

$50,000 to $55,000 a year, plus mileage agreement! Salary based on experience.

Position Summary

Our Field Representative’s primary job function takes place outside of the office, inspecting homes and projects before, during and after installations. They are checking job readiness, checking on the installers doing the work and verifying that everything gets done, and doing the little things to button up whatever is outstanding. They are field measuring and checking work orders to make sure we have the right quantities of materials ordered and we have materials to cover all the areas in the installations.

Essential Functions

• Communicate with customers and project managers on a daily basis
• Drive from jobsite to jobsite – planning and prioritizing each day
• Schedule work to be done in an efficient manor
• Determine best method of installations and repairs
• Ensure the job is completed to the customer’s satisfaction
• Respond to any complaints or questions regarding installations
• Pick up and deliver materials as necessary
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements

• Have earned a high school diploma or equivalent
• Flooring Installation experience a plus! Construction experience is helpful.
• Exhibit commitment to safety in all work practices.
• Be able to work independently and problem solve.
• Be able to multi-task and prioritize the duties required.
• Exhibit effective oral and written communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Must have a reliable vehicle to travel to job sites.
• Must be a good communicator.
