Job summary

Rite Rug in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a motivated Field Representative to work outside the office, inspect homes and projects before, during, and after installations. You will monitor readiness, check installers, and verify completion while coordinating with customers and project managers.

This role requires independent problem solving, a high school diploma, and a valid driver's license. You will travel to job sites, handle materials, and help ensure installations meet quality and safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Flooring installation experience is a plus; construction experience helpful.
• Must be able to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

If you are looking for a company where you are part of family, then Rite Rug is the place for you!POSITION SUMMARY:Our Field Representative’s primary job function takes place outside of the office, inspecting homes and projects before, during and after installations. They are checking job readiness, checking on the installers doing the work and verifying that everything gets done, and doing the little things to button up whatever is outstanding. They are field measuring and checking work orders to make sure we have the right quantities of materials ordered and we have materials to cover all the areas in the installations.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Communicate with customers and project managers on a daily basisDrive from jobsite to jobsite – planning and prioritizing each daySchedule work to be done in an efficient manorDetermine best method of installations and repairsEnsure the job is completed to the customer’s satisfactionRespond to any complaints or questions regarding installationsPick up and deliver materials as necessaryPerform other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:Have earned a high school diploma or equivalentFlooring Installation experience a plus! Construction experience is helpful.Exhibit commitment to safety in all work practices.Be able to work independently and problem solve.Be able to multi-task and prioritize the duties required.Exhibit effective oral and written communication skills.Must have a valid driver’s license and insurance.Must have a reliable vehicle to travel to job sites.Must be a good communicator.Required to pass drug test and subject to random test
