Job summary

Rite Rug in Florida is seeking a motivated Field Representative to join our team. This role is primarily outside the office, inspecting homes and projects before, during and after installations.

You will field measure, verify material needs, coordinate with installers, communicate with customers and project managers, and drive between job sites. A high school diploma is required; flooring installation or construction experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Flooring Installation experience a plus! Construction experience is helpful.
• Commitment to safety in all work practices.
• Able to work independently and problem solve.
• Able to multi-task and prioritize the duties required.
• Exhibit effective oral and written communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Must have a reliable vehicle to travel to job sites.
• Must be a good communicator.
• Required to pass drug test and subject to random test.

Responsibilities

• Inspect homes and projects before, during and after installations.
• Check job readiness and oversee installers; verify completion.
• Field measure and check work orders to ensure correct quantities of materials.
• Ensure materials cover all areas of installations and are ordered.
• Communicate with customers and project managers daily.
• Drive between job sites and plan/prioritize each day.
• Schedule work to be performed efficiently.
• Determine best method of installations and repairs.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and address questions.

Salary based on experience.POSITION SUMMARY:Our Field Representative’s primary job function takes place outside of the office, inspecting homes and projects before, during and after installations. They are checking job readiness, checking on the installers doing the work and verifying that everything gets done, and doing the little things to button up whatever is outstanding. They are field measuring and checking work orders to make sure we have the right quantities of materials ordered and we have materials to cover all the areas in the installations.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Communicate with customers and project managers on a daily basisDrive from jobsite to jobsite – planning and prioritizing each daySchedule work to be done in an efficient manorDetermine best method of installations and repairsEnsure the job is completed to the customer’s satisfactionRespond to any complaints or questions regarding installationsPick up and deliver materials as necessaryPerform other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:Have earned a high school diploma or equivalentFlooring Installation experience a plus!
