Job summary

DTN Management Company is seeking a Repairs & Compliance Technician to execute and verify corrective actions following compliance inspections. The role is field-based, coordinating with maintenance teams, vendors, and the Compliance Coordinator to ensure timely, code-compliant repairs and accurate documentation.

In this position, you will visit properties, verify repairs, prepare for re-inspections, track costs, and support preventative maintenance initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of property maintenance or facilities operations experience.
• Knowledge of local building codes and inspection processes.
• Ability to read and interpret inspection reports and work orders.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with a focus on accountability and follow-through.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software.
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Review inspection reports and ensure all cited items are addressed and repaired within city deadlines.
• Complete all corrective actions per code and with quality workmanship.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams and external vendors to complete corrective actions efficiently.
• Conduct property site visits to verify repairs and document completion with photos or reports.
• Prepare properties for re-inspections and support scheduling of city follow ups.
• Maintain accurate tracking of repairs, costs, and completion status in company systems.
• Report recurring issues, potential code risks, or systemic maintenance deficiencies to leadership.
• Assist in developing preventative maintenance plans to reduce repeat violations.
