Job summary

Scientific Safety Alliance is seeking a Repair Certification Technician to ensure the safety and performance of laboratory environments and equipment. You will perform certifications, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance throughout the Midwest, primarily based in Baltic, CT. The role involves substantial travel, including overnight stays, and requires a strong mechanical aptitude with a focus on customer service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in field service, biomedical, calibration, or industrial equipment service.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proven troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently with extensive travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing, certification, calibration, repair, and preventive maintenance on lab equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems in the field.
• Complete accurate service reports and certification documentation.
