Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a seasoned debugger to diagnose and fix field anomalies across embedded systems and autonomous platforms. You will reproduce, analyze, and fix issues using live pipelines, logs, and simulations, contributing to robust subsystems and reliable deployments.

You’ll work across Rust, C++, Python, and Go with CI workflows, while traveling for hardware tests and field validation to ensure fixes hold under real conditions.

Qualifications

• Real experience debugging code under time pressure with incomplete information.
• Comfort in at least two of Rust, modern C++, Python, Go to read and fix bugs.

Responsibilities

• Take a field-reported anomaly and identify the real subsystem at fault.
• Reproduce issues by replaying recorded data through the live pipeline.
• Use existing metrics/logs to reconstruct system state at failure.
• Confirm fixes in simulation or hardware-in-the-loop before real deployment.
• Write fixes in the subsystem language with tests and CI integration.
• Determine if the problem is a bug, bad config, or deployment mismatch and fix at root.
• Document root cause and fix for each closed issue and share learnings.
• Push back to owning teams when changes are required at the subsystem level.
