Job summary

Valeris is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) to eliminate barriers to patients’ access to therapies. You will educate providers on billing, coding, and patient support programs while resolving reimbursement issues across multiple sites of care.

The role requires 3+ years in Pharma/Healthcare with billing/coding experience and payer knowledge; travel up to 10% is expected to support national and regional programs. You’ll work with HUB and field teams to improve access.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in a related field.
• 3+ in Pharma/Healthcare industry; working with specialty products, Hubs, Payers or related area.
• Direct experience with specialty dermatology products is preferred.
• Must have specific practice management, billing and/or coding experience for drugs, biologicals, or devices.
• General payer policy knowledge including public and private payers; knowledge of medical benefit verifications and prior authorization requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct virtual and field-based reimbursement support and education.
• Experience with Prior Authorizations, reimbursement billing, coding, and appeals process.
• Knowledge of commercial payer, Medicare and Medicaid structure, systems, and reimbursement process.
• Travel up to 10% may be required.

Responsibilities

• Solve patient access issues by coordinating with Hub, provider offices and client field teams.
• Educate HCPs and office staff on patient support programs and payer rules.
• Lead in onsite education sessions for HCPs on program business rules and payer coverage.
• Guide providers through prior authorization and appeals with required documentation.
• Support reimbursement education across sites of care and with client teams.
• Coordinate with patient support services on patient cases and billing issues.
• Educate staff on patient assistance and reimbursement tools and resources.
• Monitor payer trends and communicate with internal stakeholders.
