Job summary

Valeris is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager to join our team, helping remove barriers to patient access and educating provider offices on correct billing and coding for our products. The FRM will work with HUB, payers, and office staff, guiding them through prior authorization and appeals while coordinating with patient support services to ensure seamless access to therapies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Pharma/Healthcare, working with specialty products, hubs, payers, or related area.
• Direct experience with specialty dermatology products preferred.
• Experience with drugs, biologics, or devices reimbursement processes.
• Knowledge of public and private payer policies and pre-determination requirements.
• Experience with prior authorizations, billing and coding, and appeals.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Solve complex patient access issues across Hub and provider offices.
• Educate HCP and office staff on patient support programs.
• Lead onsite education of program business rules and payer coverage including review of J-codes and related activities.
• Guide providers through prior authorization and appeals processes.
• Coordinate with patient support services representatives on patient cases and claim issues.
• Educate staff on reimbursement tools and topics and provide information on reimbursement.
• Review billing and coding to resolve issues and avoid hurdles.
• Monitor payer trends and educate on reimbursement topics across sites of care.
• Travel up to 10% to support national engagements.
