Job summary

Medartis is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager to serve as the subject matter expert on coverage, coding, billing, and payment processes for our medical device portfolio. The role partners with Sales, Market Access, Providers, and Revenue Cycle teams to facilitate reimbursement and remove access barriers.

You will educate healthcare providers on payer requirements, support prior authorizations and appeals, and monitor CMS and payer trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (Healthcare Administration, Business, Life Sciences, or related field preferred).
• 5–7+ years of reimbursement, revenue cycle, coding, or payer experience.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer processes.
• Understanding of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM coding (Cat III CPT codes and transitional passthrough payment experience preferred).
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
• CPC, CCS, or similar certification.
• Experience supporting procedural or implantable medical devices.
• Experience working directly with providers or hospital systems.

Responsibilities

• Identify reimbursement barriers and develop strategic action plans.
• Conduct on-site and virtual training for physicians and billing staff.
• Partner with Sales Representatives and Regional Managers.

• Ensure activities comply with healthcare regulations.

The Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) serves as the subject matter expert on coverage, coding, billing, and payment processes for the company’s medical device portfolio.

This role partners closely with Sales, Market Access, Providers, and Revenue Cycle stakeholders to facilitate appropriate reimbursement, remove access barriers, and support product utilization through compliant communication.

The FRM provides education and support to healthcare providers and internal teams regarding payer requirements, documentation standards, and claims processes.

Your responsibilities
