Job summary

Syneos Health Commercial Solutions is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager to lead payer strategy and reimbursement for key urology accounts across hospitals and ambulatory surgical centers within the geography. You will drive understanding of billing, coding, and regulatory requirements to support product adoption and patient access.

The role requires 4+ years in pharma/biotech/medical devices and at least 2 years in reimbursement, with travel and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 4+ years pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device experience.
• 2+ years reimbursement experience.
• Ability to travel with overnight stays.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure target accounts understand billing and coding requirements for the products.
• Develop and leverage relationships with key customers in target accounts.
• Understand billing and coding responsibilities within target accounts (Urology clinics, ASC, Hospitals).
• Understand all reimbursement regulations for Medicaid, Medicare, and Commercial payers.
• Partner with account team to achieve patient and account outcomes.
• Demonstrate expertise in disease state, product, surgical process and reimbursement.

You are an expert facilitator: you open doors, foster communication, and bridge the gap. The Field Reimbursement Manager will be responsible for ensuring that target accounts within their geography understand the necessary steps to receive reimbursement through the appropriate payer when ordering products, consistent with company compliance policies, company procedures, and approved materials. The focus will be on key urology accounts and relevant institutions including hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers. Field Reimbursement Managers will be responsible for understanding the unique market issues of their geography, specifically part B reimbursement, health care delivery models, transitions of care and patient pathways. This role offers an exciting opportunity in partnership with Urogen to make a meaningful impact in the patient treatment journey.

In this role you will:

• Understand billing and coding responsibilities within target accounts: Urology clinics, ASC, Hospitals.
• Understand all applicable reimbursement regulations for Medicaid, Medicare, and Commercial payers.
• Partner effectively with other members of the account team to ensure the best possible outcome for the patient and the account.
• Demonstrate expertise in the disease state, the product, the surgical process and the reimbursement process.

Essential Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of 4 years pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device experience.
• Minimum of 2 years reimbursement experience required.
• Ability to communicate cross-functionally within the region to share results, assist training and develop best practices.
• Ability to travel with overnight stays, required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Desired Requirements:

• 2 years hospital or large account experience preferred.
• 2 years Urology experience preferred.
• Consistent track record of performance.
• Resourceful, creative, enthusiastic, results-oriented.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $160,000 to $170,000. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
