Job summary

Johnson & Johnson MedTech is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager to be based in Greensboro, NC. This field-based role focuses on payer coverage knowledge, prior authorizations, and education for HCPs across Immunology accounts.

You will collaborate with sales and account teams, address access challenges, and stay current on Medicare/Medicaid and private payer initiatives, while traveling up to 50% as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or business/public administration; MBA/MPH preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience with pharmacy and medical/buy & bill benefits, coding, and billing.

Responsibilities

• Educate HCPs on product coverage, prior authorizations and appeals, reimbursement processes, claims submissions, procedures, and coding requirements of payer organizations (local payers, government payers, etc.).
• Collaborate with field support team members such as sales representatives and key account managers and serve as reimbursement expert for the local team.
• Address critical access and affordability issues for patients with urgency.
• Partner with managed care colleagues to understand current policies and potential future changes.
• Conduct field-based reimbursement and access support, education and problem-solving.
• Build strong relationships with customers in assigned Immunology accounts.
• Manage territory logistics, routing, and account business planning.
• Grow knowledge of hub and specialty distribution channels for patient support.
