Job summary

AbbVie seeks an FRM Associate Director to lead a regional Field Reimbursement Manager team, educating healthcare providers on patient access and AbbVie's immunology portfolio while ensuring compliant, timely reimbursement support. You will drive strategy, collaboration with cross-functional partners, and development of access programs across the territory.

Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s degree preferred, with 3+ years in market access and 2+ years in leadership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in coverage, coding, managed healthcare, and/or market access for immunology products.
• 2+ years in a leadership role with proven team development.
• Expertise in Medicare Parts A–D reimbursement and drug distribution.
• Ability to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coach the FRM team to deliver compliant, effective access and reimbursement services.
• Conduct field rides to assess performance and provide targeted coaching.
• Collaborate with Patient Services, Managed Health Care, Sales, and Access & Reimbursement Hub to maintain compliant program execution.
• Integrate patient access programs into local/regional strategies; identify and address training opportunities.
• Monitor healthcare policy changes and communicate relevant insights to the FRM team.
• Track call activity and operational capacity using analytics tools.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure compliance with AbbVie standards and procedures.
• Drive professional development for direct reports with clear career progression.
