Job summary

Employbridge is seeking a Field Recruiter in Hayward, CA, with in-office hours Monday–Friday 8am–5pm and offsite recruitment. You will source, interview, and place candidates for logistics/manufacturing roles, building pipelines and collaborating with hiring managers across the Bay Area.

The role requires 3–5 years of full-cycle recruiting, strong communication, and ability to travel regionally. You will manage screenings, drug tests, and I-9s to get candidates hire-ready.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of full-cycle recruiting and staffing in high-volume settings.
• Experience recruiting for logistics, manufacturing, warehouse, or skilled labor.
• HR/staffing or workforce management experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office and ATS; comfortable with tech tools.
• Strong data management, reporting, and recruiting records.
• High-energy, adaptable, and organized in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with candidates and hiring managers.
• Able to understand client hiring goals and success metrics.
• Willing to travel across the Bay Area; in-office and field work.
• Reside near Hayward, Union City, or Fremont preferred.

A day as a Field Recruiter might look like the following:

• Meet with your team to brainstorm new and exciting ways to get great people to work
• You will use your creative thinking to think outside of the box to attract candidates
• Apply your marketing skills to our postings, social media sites, and the community to help us stand apart
• Use your people skills and interview techniques to find the right candidate to fill our great opportunities
• Continue to build a pipeline of people and actively look for a way to impact order fulfillment
• As you find the right people for the job, you will conduct the drug screen, background check, and I-9’s so we can get them to work!

Qualifications & Experience

• 3-5 years of full-cycle recruiting and staffing experience required, preferably supporting high-volume hiring environments.
• Experience recruiting for logistics, manufacturing, warehouse, industrial, or skilled labor positions is highly preferred.
• Previous HR, staffing, workforce management, or customer-facing recruiting experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable utilizing ATS, recruiting platforms, and other technology tools to drive hiring decisions.
• Experience with data management, reporting, and maintaining accurate recruiting records.
• High-energy, positive, and adaptable professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and adjust quickly to changing business needs.
• Proven ability to build relationships with candidates, clients, hiring managers, and community partners.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor communication to different audiences.
• Ability to understand client hiring goals, workforce needs, and key success metrics.
• Strong customer service mindset with a commitment to providing a positive candidate and client experience.
• Team-oriented professional who collaborates effectively and contributes to organizational success.
• Self-starter who can work independently, take initiative, and hit the ground running.
• Must be comfortable working both in-office and in the field to support recruiting initiatives.
• Ability and willingness to travel throughout the Bay Area, including across bridge corridors, to attend job fairs, hiring events, community outreach activities, and client locations.
• Candidates residing in or near Hayward, Union City, or Fremont are strongly preferred due to the office location and field-based responsibilities.

The anticipated salary rate for this position is $70,304. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
