Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide staffing and placement support between 4:00 AM – 1:00 PM (ET).
• Manage and respond to an assigned recruiter phone line.
• Communicate job assignments clearly to workers and internal teams.
• Recruit construction labor in the field (job sites, labor pickup areas, community locations).
• Conduct face-to-face outreach with potential candidates.
• Build relationships with workers, foremen, and crew leaders.
• Post physical job advertisements at approved high-traffic locations.
• Travel daily throughout Montgomery County, Prince George’s County, and surrounding areas.
• Assist candidates with in-office onboarding and paperwork.
• Coordinate start dates and job assignments.
• Ensure accuracy and completion of hiring documentation.

Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour (DOE)

Schedule: Early mornings required

Reports To: HR Manager

About the Role

You will be responsible for early‑morning dispatch support, in‑person recruiting in the field, and onboarding construction workers to meet urgent and same‑day staffing needs. The ideal candidate is fluent in Spanish and English, comfortable working early mornings, and energized by face‑to‑face recruiting in the construction community.

Required Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish and English (verbal communication required)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in recruiting, staffing, or construction
• Experience recruiting hourly or blue‑collar workers
• Familiarity with labor dispatch or high‑volume hiring environments
