As a Field Recruiter, you'll help ensure our teams have the talent they need to serve customers, meet business goals, and continue growing. Your ability to build candidate pipelines, partner with field leaders, and create a positive hiring experience will have a direct impact on workforce stability and business performance.

What You'll Do

As a Field Recruiter, you'll manage the full recruitment lifecycle for field and operational positions, partnering closely with hiring managers to identify talent needs and attract qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and screening through offer acceptance and onboarding coordination.
  • Partner with field managers to understand hiring needs, define candidate profiles, and create accurate job descriptions.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for both active and passive candidates across multiple recruiting channels.
  • Post and manage job advertisements across relevant platforms.
  • Review applications, conduct candidate screenings, and recommend qualified candidates to hiring managers.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews while ensuring a consistent candidate experience.
  • Participate in interviews and provide hiring recommendations to managers and stakeholders.
  • Partner with hiring managers and HR to develop competitive offers, including compensation recommendations and start-date planning.
  • Track recruiting activity, pipeline health, and hiring progress within the applicant tracking system.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Represent the organization at career fairs, recruiting events, and community hiring initiatives.
  • Support additional recruiting and talent acquisition projects as business needs evolve.

What You'll Actually Do in Your First 30 Days

  • Meet with hiring managers and operational leaders to understand staffing priorities, hiring challenges, and workforce planning needs.
  • Learn the company's recruiting processes, applicant tracking system, and interview practices.
  • Take ownership of active job openings and begin screening, interviewing, and advancing candidates.
  • Attend hiring events, review sourcing channels, and identify opportunities to improve candidate flow for high-priority positions.

What Success Looks Like in Your First 90 Days

Within your first three months, you will:

  • Build strong working relationships with field leaders and understand workforce needs across assigned locations.
  • Independently manage open requisitions from intake through offer stage.
  • Maintain accurate recruiting activity and candidate data within the applicant tracking system.
  • Establish sourcing strategies that consistently generate qualified candidate pipelines.
  • Become a trusted recruiting partner who provides hiring managers with actionable market insights and candidate recommendations.

Must Have

  • 1-3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management.
  • Experience recruiting for high-volume positions, preferably within transportation, logistics, operations, or similar industries.
  • Hands-on experience using an applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to partner effectively with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and recruitment best practices.

Nice to Have

  • Experience recruiting for transportation or field-based operational roles.
  • Experience attending job fairs, hiring events, or campus recruiting initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience making compensation recommendations or supporting offer negotiations.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and reporting tools.
