FirstEnergy Corp in Butler, PA, is seeking a Readiness Coordinator to support Distribution Line Operations by pre-inspecting jobs for readiness and reducing safety exposures in the field.

You will plan and schedule activities, manage the work queue, and coordinate with customers, property owners, and engineers to ensure proper readiness before dispatch. This role emphasizes safety, communication, and field assessments.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology or related discipline plus 1-2 years of related work experience.
• In lieu of Bachelor's degree, a minimum of 3 years of related work experience is required.
• Knowledge of NESC and NEC.
• Knowledge of the Customer Guide for Electric Service (CGES).
• Understand Accident Prevention Handbook and Manual of Operations.
• Interpret work requests and schematics to develop accurate work plans.
• Experience with a variety of electrical distribution systems and construction methods.
• Must have valid driver's license.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrate and direct a solid commitment to safety.
• Provide reliable support to supervision by planning and scheduling activities and managing the work queue.
• Assist supervision in establishing work commitment dates and expedite delivery when needed.
• Physically visit jobs to determine readiness and communicate before dispatch.
• Utilize the job readiness checklist to ensure jobs can be executed.
• Support storm restoration efforts and be MOP trained if required.
• Coordinate with planners to establish start and completion dates.
• Gather information from field investigations to inform work plans.
