Job summary

APTIM Corp. seeks a Junior level Radiological Control Technician to support radiological field operations in San Francisco, CA.

You will perform radiation health and safety surveys and implement controls to meet high data integrity standards set by APTIM and project stakeholders. The role requires 2+ years of operational health physics experience, familiarity with US NRC/DoD/DOE/USACE regulations, and a current 40-hour HAZWOPER qualification.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of operational health physics experience in radiation safety.
• Familiarity with radiation protection regulations (USNRC, USDOD, USDOE, USACE, Agreement States).
• Current HAZWOPER 40-hour qualification.

Responsibilities

• Caries out health physics and industrial hygiene policies on field projects.
• Performs field Health Physics Technician assignments aligned with project schedules.
• Operates radiation measuring equipment; conducts radiological surveys and sampling; documents surveys in high quality, error-free format.
