Job summary

Team Quality Services Inc. is seeking a Field Quality Associate to oversee supplier and service location quality at sites in Sparks, NV, with on-site responsibilities and travel for onboarding and training.

You will coordinate audits, root cause analysis, and corrective actions, ensuring compliance with ISO/TS 16949 and AIAG tools. The role requires a high school diploma, passport eligibility, and a valid driver's license; a Bachelor's degree in engineering or manufacturing is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; passport eligibility for travel.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or manufacturing-related field preferred.
• Experience in automotive manufacturing or supplier quality assurance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with supplier and service location personnel as main quality contact.
• Audit supplier parts at service locations to ensure quality standards and materials compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to set supplier quality objectives and actions.
• Recommend process improvements and corrective actions to improve quality and reduce costs.
• Identify, isolate, and resolve quality issues rapidly with clear communication.
• Conduct root cause analysis of customer quality issues and implement mitigation.
• Support customers and service staff with technical guidance on quality challenges.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and core tools.
• Communicate quality objectives effectively across engineering, quality, logistics, and production teams.
• Travel to facilities as needed; drive on behalf of the company when required.
