Job summary

Project Resource Collective is seeking a Field Quality Lead to support a major Power Delivery Electrical Construction project in Adelanto, CA. The role emphasizes hands-on quality oversight on a live site, ensuring inspections, tests, and documentation align with project requirements.

The ideal candidate has an electrical construction background, strong QA/QC knowledge, and the ability to coordinate with Quality Leads, Managers, and Construction Managers.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or 4+ years in quality control/assurance.
• Electrical construction background required; substation/transmission exp preferred.
• Familiarity with safety requirements and environmental considerations.
• Experience with surveillance oversight programs.
• Understanding of equipment and material specifications and testing requirements.
• Basic understanding of critical path scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and oversee quality activities to meet ITPs, QC inspections, and specs.
• Participate in reviews and audits as assigned.
• Document issues and help develop corrective actions.
• Ensure QA/QC testing and records are in project quality plans.
• Attend project quality, construction, and safety meetings.
• Coordinate third-party testing and inspections.
• Provide hands-on field quality oversight on active construction sites.
• Assist with updates to the project quality management plan.
• Support KPI reporting and metrics gathering.
• Contribute to compliance discussions during preparatory meetings.
