Job summary

Lambert's Cable is seeking a Quality Control Field Technician to ensure construction and installation work meets standards. You will inspect, test, monitor compliance, document findings, and collaborate with teams to drive improvements.

The role requires the ability to work in remote locations, travel as needed, and handle after-hours responsibilities while maintaining safety and quality across projects.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or older and eligible to work in the US.
• 1 year of relevant field experience preferred.
• Familiarity with telecommunication installation standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections during installation to ensure plans meet specs.
• Perform final inspections as requested by customers for compliance.
• Identify issues and report to team members for resolution.
• Record non-compliance issues and follow up until resolved.
• Ensure all testing is completed and document results.
• Support project activities and installation milestones as directed.
• Work overtime, travel, and on-call as needed in varied weather.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills

Quality control experience

Valid driver's license

1 year experience in field work

Knowledge of installation standards

Associates Degree or equivalent
