Job summary

Lam Research Corporation in Austin is seeking a Field Service Engineer in our Site Quality Leader role to ensure operational excellence of complex semiconductor equipment and drive the voice of the customer into Factory and Engineering teams.

You will maintain and track site quality performance, push 8D quality actions, and partner across functions to deliver tangible improvements while upholding reporting accuracy and customer impact awareness.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in root cause determination and corrective actions (5Why/Ishikawa).
• Experience driving on-site quality objectives and reporting accuracy.
• Develop site problem-solving capabilities and feed voice of the customer to teams.
• Drive 8D quality and cycle time to meet expectations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and track site quality performance and culture.
• Ensure accurate reporting of issues and customer impact.
• Collaborate with Factory and Engineering to implement improvements.
• Use Lam escalation process for non-compliance.
