Job summary

Balfour Beatty US is seeking a Quality Control Engineer in Hermiston, OR to support the Quality Manager and Director of Quality Control in project QC activities that ensure the highest levels of product quality, compliance with specifications, code and client expectations. Qualifications

• BS in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; 4–7 years of experience preferred.
• Inspections at project sites and adherence to SOPs.
• Proficiency with electronic data collection and inspection methods.
• Strong communication and PC/MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Support quality manager and director in project QC activities.
• Review subcontractors’ work for compliance with specifications and contract requirements.
• Conduct inspections, testing and product verification.
• Provide technical support to project management and subcontractors.
• Support corrective and preventive actions in the field and drive continuous improvement.
• Participate in close-out processes and lessons learned for future projects.
