Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Quality Assurance professional for field-based construction programs. You will develop, implement, and maintain a QASP aligned with FAR and CQM requirements, and oversee contractor quality control through meetings and documentation.

You will review submittals, conduct inspections, and coordinate with project stakeholders and government representatives to resolve non-conformances, while maintaining comprehensive quality records and supporting safety and schedule goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 5 years of relevant experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• U.S. citizen and able to pass federal background check.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the QASP per FAR/CQM requirements and contract specs.
• Perform daily quality inspections and document progress to ensure standards are met.
• Oversee Quality Control meetings with project stakeholders and subcontractors.
• Review submittals, shop drawings, and materials for conformance with design specs.
• Coordinate with field supervisors and government representatives to address non-conformances promptly.
• Maintain accurate quality documentation including inspection reports and NCRs.
• Collaborate with safety and project controls to ensure integrated quality, safety, and schedule compliance.
• Ensure testing/inspection by qualified personnel and approved labs.
• Participate in project meetings, audits, and final inspections.
