Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to develop, implement, and maintain the project-specific QASP in compliance with FAR and CQM requirements for federal construction projects. You will perform daily quality inspections, document progress, and verify materials and workmanship meet standards.

You will oversee QC meetings, review submittals, coordinate with field teams and government representatives, and manage non-conformances with corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Able to pass a federal background check.
• Ability to work in the field with long periods of standing/walking/sitting.
• Proficient in reading/interpreting quality plans.
• Knowledge of applicable regulations, codes, and standards.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and teams; strong organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Familiar with computers/tablets/phones.
• Strong writing and oral communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills to build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the QASP in compliance with FAR, CQM, and contract specs.
• Perform daily quality inspections and document progress to ensure standards are met.
