Job summary

Intrinsic Development is expanding its leadership in upscale multi-family and mixed-use developments with a hands-on Quality Control Manager role based in Missouri. The position requires field inspections, defect identification, and collaboration with project teams to ensure workmanship meets our high standards across live projects.

The QC Manager will routinely travel to active job sites, review plans and codes, and implement robust quality procedures to support timely, high-quality project

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction, quality control, construction management, field supervision, or a related role.
• Experience with multifamily, commercial, mixed-use, hospitality, or large-scale projects preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred; equivalent construction experience will be considered.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and scopes of work.
• Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of active construction projects to evaluate workmanship, materials, installation, and overall quality.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and inspection standards across projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts, scopes of work, and building codes to identify quality requirements.
• Identify deficiencies, document findings, and coordinate corrective actions with project teams.
• Monitor material installation for compliance with plans and standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, site supervisors, general contractors, subcontractors, and consultants to resolve quality concerns.
• Support project closeout activities, including punch lists and inspections.
