Job summary

Appalachian Aggregates, LLC, a CRH Company, is seeking a Quality Control Technician for Hillsboro, WV. You will inspect and test raw materials and finished products to ensure quality.

Responsibilities include sample preparation, routine testing, recording results, and recommending adjustments; adhere to ASTM standards and maintain equipment. A valid driver's license and ability to work various shifts are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One to two years prior QC experience preferred.
• Must pass drug screen and criminal background.
• Must have valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials and products for testing.
• Sampling and reduction of samples.
• Routine tests of raw materials, calculation of results and preparation of test reports.
• Test all products and raw material and record results.
• Calculate adjustments needed to correct the product if necessary.
• Obtain product samples and communicate what will be produced.
• Maintain and clean assigned areas and equipment.
