Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Quality Manager I to own the on-site quality program for a single project under a senior manager. You will maintain the ITP, schedule tests, verify technician certifications, and produce daily QC reports, escalating NCRs as needed.

The role advances to Quality Manager II with expanded programs and larger teams. Travel and field presence are required on active jobsites, with a driver’s license and pre-employment screening.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction materials testing, special inspection, or contractor QC.
• Able to read specifications and drawings and translate them into a test schedule.
• Direct, organized, and comfortable informing a superintendent when a lift does not pass.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the project inspection and test plan (ITP) and the testing frequency log against the specifications.
• Schedule and witness field and laboratory tests.
• Verify certifications of technicians performing tests.
• Write the daily quality control report and meeting records.
• Open, track, and close nonconformance reports with the superintendent and engineer of record.
• Keep submittal, mix design, and material certification files audit-ready.
