Job summary

Batchelor & Kimball in Texas is seeking a QA/QC support member to assist the QA/QC team on construction projects. The role emphasizes meticulous data entry, document control, and traceability of construction records.

Work is onsite in Haskell, TX with a 10-hour shift from 4:30 PM to 2:30 AM, Monday through Saturday. Candidates should have strong reading ability for drawings and prior QA/QC experience in construction environments.

Qualifications

Strong computer application skills.
Minimum 3 years field experience with ability to read mechanical, structural & isometric drawings.
Plan and perform work activities independently.
Ability to prioritize, plan, perform and communicate activities in both written and verbal form.
Ability to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail.
Experience with quality management systems involving ASME, AWS and AWWA mechanical codes.
Computer literacy applied to data management, collection, and reporting.
Valid driver’s license.
Experience in Quality Control on construction sites (Welding, HVAC, Plumbing).
Knowledge of welding (pipe, structural), pressure testing, coating and torquing.
Process paperwork for material testing/inspection and QA/QC for NDE, Insulation, Ducting services.
Onsite at field locations.

Responsibilities

Deliver quality record development (hydro forms/civil forms) for review and retention.
Maintain effective information storage systems for QA/QC documents and data.
Support regular compilation and reporting of QA/QC data for management reporting and review.
Maintain records demonstrating full traceability of changes to construction documents.
Input data into software programs and compile data books for turnover to clients.
Work independently with integrity.
