Job summary

Lochridge-Priest, Inc. in Texas is seeking a QA/QC Specialist to support and execute the company’s quality program across construction projects, with emphasis on mission-critical and data center environments.

You will work with project teams to ensure installations comply with drawings, specs, codes, and manufacturer requirements. This role involves field inspections, documentation, NCRs, testing coordination, and closeout activities, promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years in construction QA/QC, inspection, commissioning, or related role.
• Experience supporting data center or mission-critical construction preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and schematics.
• Quality certifications such as ASQ, ICC, or OSHA are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine field inspections to verify installations comply with drawings, specs, codes, and standards.
• Support QA/QC oversight of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other systems per project scope.
• Coordinate inspections and testing with third‑party agencies, vendors, and commissioning teams.
• Develop and implement project‑specific QA/QC processes, checklists, and documentation requirements.
• Review drawings, submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, and BIM docs to verify field installations meet requirements.
• Identify defects, initiate NCRs, track corrective actions, and closeout Quality records.
