Job summary

IMI is seeking a Field Employee to work under the Project Foreman, reading plans, managing crews, scheduling jobs, and ensuring quality control in field operations.

The candidate will coordinate with the Project Manager and Foreman, oversee daily field activities, and travel to job sites as needed. Strong communication, leadership, and welding experience are required for success in this fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of project field experience.
• Problem solving abilities and ability to adapt to project changes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and leadership skills.
• Detailed oriented, highly adaptable, and possess the ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Ability to complete work in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment.
• Welding experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Project Manager and Project Foreman to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to deadlines and budgets.
• Oversee daily project field operation and report to Project Foreman.
• Read and implement plans, perform project layout, and make field adjustments as needed.
• Coordinate schedule, staff, equipment, and resources to meet project requirements.
• Communicate and interact in the field with departments responsible for production and installation.
• Follow safety rules, maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Attend site-specific training and follow procedures.
• Willing to travel to job sites.
