Job summary

Wright Tree Service seeks a Project Manager to lead tree-trimming crews, administer daily operations, and enforce safety and union-related practices. You will collaborate with HR on hires, discipline, and leaves, while ensuring accurate records and timely reporting of production and incidents.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, OSHA knowledge, and readiness to work long hours including emergencies; a CDL and ISA certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising tree-trimming/clearing crews and handling personnel matters.
• Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and safety training procedures.
• Ability to interact professionally with customers, public and utilities.
• Familiarity with driver credentials; able to pass pre-employment checks.
• Understanding of union agreements when applicable and I-9 processes.

Responsibilities

• Supervises crews, enforces safety practices and work quality.
• Interviews or coordinates hiring, onboarding, leaves and discipline.
• Maintains records, reports orders, units produced and crew time.
• Trains employees, conducts safety and tailgate trainings.
• Manages costs, equipment use, and field operations reporting.
