You will coordinate with HR on hiring, train staff, and prepare reports for management while maintaining accurate records and cost controls.

Strong leadership and arboriculture knowledge are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

Minimum 4–5 years’ experience on tree trimming or clearing crews.
Excellent leadership skills and ability to handle stress and multi-task.
Knowledge of trees, including identification and arboricultural techniques near energized conductors.
Understanding of ANSI Z133.1-2000 standards and ANSI A300.
Knowledge of OSHA rules and guidelines.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic reading of circuit maps.

Responsibilities

Supervises General Fore Persons and crews, enforcing safety and work standards.
Maintains daily production records and reports on orders, crew time, and units.
Interviews candidates and coordinates hiring with HR; follows new hire procedures.
Conducts safety training, stand-downs, and tailgate trainings.
Communicates with customers, property owners, utilities, and public; maintains professionalism.
Manages crew costs, manpower, methods, and equipment; travels as needed.
