Anchor Heating and Air is seeking an experienced Field Project Manager to oversee multiple HVAC installation projects in and around Douglasville, GA. You will be the primary on-site representative, coordinating with GC, site superintendents, and other trades to ensure safety, on-time delivery, and budget compliance.

The role requires strong field knowledge of HVAC systems, layout, and blueprints, with a focus on collaboration, scheduling, and problem-solving on busy jobsites.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of project management in commercial or industrial HVAC.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, sheet metal layout, and blueprints.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to advocate for our scope on busy jobsites.

Responsibilities

• Drive progress across multiple active jobsites, ensuring work follows mechanical plans and quality standards.
• Monitor project costs, labor hours, and material allocations to meet timelines.
• Coordinate with GCs and sub-contractors on-site to resolve conflicts and scheduling.
• Confirm HVAC equipment and materials are ordered, delivered, and staged on-site.
• Manage RFIs, change orders, and daily field logs to keep office and clients aligned.

Job description

Anchor Heating and Air is seeking an experienced, driven Field Project Manager to oversee and coordinate multiple HVAC installation projects simultaneously. You will spend your days active in the field across Douglasville and the surrounding areas, as our primary on-site representative. Your main mission is to ensure every project under your purview is delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

This is a highly collaborative role requiring daily, face-to-face interaction with General Contractors (GCs), site superintendents, and other trades to ensure seamless schedule combination and swift problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Field Supervision: Drive progress across multiple active jobsites, confirming work adheres strictly to mechanical plans and quality standards.
• Budget & Schedule Control: Monitor project costs, labor hours, and material allocations to ensure jobs are profitable and meet strict timelines.
• Cross-Trade Collaboration: Coordinate seamlessly with GCs and other sub-contractors on-site to resolve conflicts and scheduling times.
• Materials & Logistics: Confirm all necessary HVAC equipment and materials are ordered, delivered, and staged on-site when scheduled.
• Documentation: Manage requests for information (RFIs), change orders, and daily field logs to keep the office and clients aligned.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 2+ years of project management experience specifically within commercial or industrial HVAC construction.
• Field Knowledge: Strong technical understanding of HVAC systems, sheet metal layout, and blueprints.
• Communication: Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to confidently advocate for our scope of work on busy jobsites.
