Job summary

Anchor Heating and Air is seeking a Senior Lead Commercial HVAC Installer to oversee and perform high-quality commercial installations and to mentor junior teammates. The role requires coordinating with customers, supervisors, and colleagues while upholding safety and Anchor’s standards.

The ideal candidate will bring 7–10 years of HVAC installation experience, with a track record in commercial projects and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of HVAC field installation experience preferred.
• Commercial HVAC installation experience required.
• Residential HVAC installation experience strongly preferred.
• Retrofit and new construction experience preferred.
• Ability to lead a crew and work independently.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Clean, professional work habits.
• Ability to travel daily to jobs throughout the metro Atlanta area.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial HVAC installation projects from initiation to completion.
• Install HVAC equipment, ductwork, refrigerant piping, controls, accessories, and related system components.
• Participate in retrofit, replacement, and new construction installation jobs.
• Review and interpret job layouts, plans, scopes of work, and installation instructions.
• Coordinate effectively with the warehouse, installation team, project managers, and other colleagues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site environment.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, supervisors, and team members.
• Assist in training and mentoring helpers and junior installers.
• Address field challenges proactively while maintaining project timeline.
• Follow all company safety standards and installation procedures

The Senior Lead Commercial HVAC Installer is a dedicated professional committed to ongoing growth and contribution. We are seeking a skilled and dependable lead-level installer who takes pride in maintaining clean work environments, organizing projects efficiently, communicating effectively, and ensuring that tasks are completed to the highest standards. This person will be responsible for leading and performing high-quality HVAC installations on commercial and light commercial projects, with some residential work as needed. You will help plan and execute installations, coordinate with team members, communicate with customers and supervisors, and make sure each job is completed safely, professionally, and to Anchor's standards.

Our installation team works on a variety of residential, commercial, and light commercial HVAC projects, including

• Office building


• Medical office


• Light commercial facilities

• Design-build and custom installation projects

The right candidate should be comfortable working in both commercial and residential environments and should be able to lead jobs with professionalism, organization, and attention to detail.
