Job summary

PCL Solar Constructors USA Inc. in Norwood, Georgia, seeks a Project Engineer to support on-site activities and ensure compliance with quality standards across projects. The role involves coordinating with trade partners, managing documentation, and supporting design reviews.

Travel is required as projects may be located in Texas, Oklahoma, Georgia and other states. Per-diem and comprehensive benefits accompany this position, with opportunities for growth within PCL’s solar division.

Qualifications

• Associates or bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of construction experience in an operational role preferred.
• Understanding of construction equipment, drawings, HSE, quality and standards employed on sites.

Responsibilities

• Maintain contracts with select trade partners and supervise subcontract administration including defining work scope and inquiries.
• Participate in change management and change order pricing, processing, and cost/schedule impact assessments.
• Maintain project documentation control, RFIs, shop drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Collaborate with project team to supervise design and respond to submittal schedules.
• Coordinate with project manager and superintendent on site health, safety, budget, schedule and quality.
