Job summary

Nicholson Construction is seeking a civil engineering–driven professional to provide technical, quality control and administrative support on our construction sites. The role focuses on enforcing safety regulations, performing field QC tests, managing records and supporting project teams.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in Civil Engineering or related field, with 1–3 years of construction experience and familiarity with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

Qualifications

• Requires a BS in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related degree.
• 1–3 years of construction or geotechnical experience or related field work.
• Basic bidding and job costing knowledge is preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, quality control and administrative support to project teams on jobsites.
• Ensure compliance with Nicholson and OSHA safety regulations.
• Perform field quality control tests and manage quality control records.
• Order materials, write purchase orders and track inventory.
• Assist in drawing interpretation, surveys and geometry-related tasks.
• Prepare drawings and sketches to support construction work.
