Job summary

A leading pharmaceutical company in Lexington, Kentucky, is looking for a Manufacturing Process Engineer to provide real-time process engineering support to the manufacturing process. The role involves managing design projects and ensuring compliance and quality across all products. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, along with 3-5 years' experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and expertise in troubleshooting equipment. This position supports a flexible work schedule and requires knowledge of cGMPs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 3-5 years of pharmaceutical manufacturing/maintenance experience required.
• Expertise in troubleshooting production equipment/systems is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Design and project manage changes, improvements, new systems and equipment.
• Prepare Change Control Records and Design Documents.
• Lead Continuous Improvement Projects and execute them.

Skills

Troubleshooting production equipment/systems

Knowledge of cGMPs

Experience with Windows-based and PLC computer networks

Experience with Allen-Bradley ControlLogix and Siemens PLCs

Ability to work a flexible schedule

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering
