Job summary

The Lane Construction Corporation is seeking a qualified Project Engineer for a VSL project operating in Virginia. The role involves planning, coordinating, and managing on-site construction engineering activities and closely communicating with subcontractors to ensure schedule adherence.

You will prepare and review pay estimates, budgets, change orders, and cost reports for leadership approval, and you will lead weekly staff and project reviews.

Qualifications

5 years of engineering experience in heavy civil construction

Responsibilities

Plans, coordinates, and manages on-site construction engineering daily activities and schedules and communicates with subcontractors.
Prepares monthly Owner pay estimates, reviews subcontractor pay requests after updating the Project CPM schedule.
Prepares and updates job budgets, change orders and cost reports for Project Director's/Manager's review and approval.
Prepares and leads weekly staff and regular review meetings.
Performs other duties as assigned.
