Job summary

Tutor Perini Building Corp. is seeking a Project Engineer to join our project in Pocola, OK. The role focuses on monitoring construction activities to ensure progress aligns with schedule and contract specs.

You will inspect sites, interpret drawings, resolve issues, and prepare necessary records and drawings. Ideal candidates have a civil engineering/CM degree and GC experience on large projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field.
• Two or more years of commercial construction experience.
• General Contractor work experience on a project exceeding $50 million.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite, Primavera P6 and Procore.
• TIA preparation experience.
• Experienced in blueprint reading, construction scheduling and CAD.
• Previous experience as a field engineer or project engineer on commercial construction projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction site daily and coordinate with contractors to schedule deliveries.
• Interpret designs and drawings for crafts installing materials.
• Research and resolve drawing interpretation problems, conflicts, interference, and errors.
• Prepare field design change requisitions and 'as built' drawings.
• Prepare and disseminate required documentation records such as status reports and punch lists.
• Verify that all completed work complies with codes, drawings and specifications.
• Attend meetings with contractors, clients, or A/E representatives to coordinate design and construction.
