Job summary

Gilder Search Group in Worcester, MA is seeking a Field Coordinator to support commercial construction projects across Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. This field-based role coordinates site activities, assesses site readiness, performs field measurements and inspections, and supports project execution with customers, contractors, and internal teams.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and 2+ years in commercial construction, can travel overnight, lift 50 pounds, and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 2+ years in commercial construction
• Experience reading/interpreting construction documents, plans and specs
• Experience using measuring devices and basic construction math
• Experience coordinating with customers, contractors, and internal teams
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and travel overnight as needed

Responsibilities

• Inspect active job sites for progress, readiness, and quality
• Perform field measurements and data collection on site
• Read blueprints and work orders to support field execution
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and installation schedules
• Attend site meetings and coordinate with customers and internal teams
• Manage material receipt and ensure quality at sites
• Support installation activities and verify completion per docs
• Travel throughout MA, CT, and RI, with overnight stays as needed
