Job summary

The Field Project Manager Assistant at Asplundh Careers supports field projects by tracking progress, coordinating with stakeholders, scheduling meetings, and maintaining project documents and reports. This role also helps monitor operational and financial metrics regionally, standardizing workflows and billing procedures.

Ideal candidates hold a two-year degree in construction management or related field, with strong analytical and Excel skills (pivot tables).

Qualifications

• Two-year college degree in construction management, engineering, or related areas, or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with ability to work across levels from field personnel to leadership.
• Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables and charts; Smartsheet experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Track the status of field construction projects.
• Assist in project scheduling.
• Update tracking and communication tools (Smartsheet, Excel, performance metric charts).
• Monitor and facilitate programs to collect production in the field using mobile platforms.
• Validate proper work package submission for billing.
• Assist General Forepersons to resolve daily operational issues.
• Monitor and report adherence to production reporting processes.
• Validate and submit reports to utility customers.
• Coordinate and review metrics for GF and PM.
• Ensure customer billing submission and processing within contractual guidelines.
• Review GF productivity with Supervisors and identify improvements.
• Train new hires on billing processes.
• Monitor unit-based billing and identify profitable areas with monthly synopses to Regional Manager.
• Develop standard process maps for billing customers and ensure timely submission.
• Performs other duties as required.
