Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Track and report project progress against schedules and milestones.
• Support cost tracking, forecasting, accruals, and budget reporting.
• Monitor contractor progress and verify reported quantities and percent complete.
• Maintain project controls reports and provide regular updates to project management.
• Assist with change management, including tracking changes and potential impacts.
• Coordinate with field construction teams to collect progress information.
• Review contractor documentation, timesheets, invoices, and progress reports.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure information is current and accurate.
• Identify potential schedule, cost, and productivity issues and communicate them to the team.
• Support project reporting throughout construction and execution.

Schedule: Field-based

We are looking for an experienced Field Project Controls Analyst to support a major infrastructure project in the Tallulah, Louisiana area. This position will work closely with the project management, construction, engineering, and contractor teams to track project progress, costs, schedules, and reporting.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on project controls experience in a construction, pipeline, energy, or industrial environment and be comfortable working in the field.

Responsibilities

• Track and report project progress against established schedules and milestones
• Support cost tracking, forecasting, accruals, and budget reporting
• Monitor contractor progress and verify reported quantities and percent complete
• Maintain project controls reports and provide regular updates to project management
• Assist with change management, including tracking changes and potential cost and schedule impacts
• Coordinate with field construction teams to collect accurate progress information
• Review contractor documentation, timesheets, invoices, and progress reports
• Maintain project documentation and ensure project controls information is current and accurate
• Identify potential schedule, cost, and productivity issues and communicate them to the project team

Requirements

• 3+ years of project controls, cost control, project coordination, or related experience
• Experience supporting construction or capital projects
• Experience working with contractors and field construction teams
• Strong understanding of project cost tracking and reporting
• Experience with forecasting, accruals, budgets, and change management
• Ability to work independently in a field environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred

• Pipeline, midstream, oil & gas, energy, or industrial construction experience
• Experience with project cost control systems
• Previous field project controls experience

This is a hands-on field position supporting an active construction project. Candidates with direct field project controls and cost control experience are strongly preferred.
