Job summary

Diversified Gas & Oil Corporation is seeking a Lease Operator to support production optimization across conventional wells in the Appalachian Basin. The role emphasizes troubleshooting artificial lift and working closely with field teams to maximize volumes and ensure safe operations.

The ideal candidate has at least five years in the gas/oil industry, strong data interpretation skills, and solid experience with field documentation and cross‑department collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school or higher education.
• 5+ years' experience in the gas/oil industry.
• Experience with well operations and volume optimization.
• Basic computer skills: PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Excellent verbal communication across all levels.
• Ability to organize, interpret data, and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Production optimization and troubleshooting on artificial lift types.
• Optimization on unconventional wells including continuous flow and plunger lift; use echo meter for data gathering.
• Assist with troubleshooting wells and present findings to management.
• Assist with well reviews and action-item generation.
• Evaluate inactive wells to either turn back inline or plug and abandon.
• Coordinate activities to turn wells back inline with other departments.
• Coordinate special projects per management’s discretion.
• Relieve Lease Operator as needed.
