Job summary

West Fraser is seeking a Corporate Supply Chain Team member in Memphis, TN, to enhance procurement capabilities across facilities. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in procurement or a related field and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

This role requires regular travel with a focus on training and supporting operational performance while maintaining strong vendor relationships. Competitive compensation and benefits are offered, starting from Day 1.

Qualifications

• 5 or more years of experience in procurement or supply chain in a manufacturing environment.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly (approximately 50%).

Responsibilities

• Build procurement capability at the facility level.
• Drive consistent use of procurement systems across manufacturing facilities.
• Support continuous improvement in system utilization.

Skills

Strong understanding of site-level purchasing practices

Ability to train and coach teams

Experience with ERP systems

Collaboration and communication skills

Education

Post-secondary education in Operations Management, Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or Manufacturing
