Job summary

SGS Consulting in Philadelphia seeks an engineer to operate and troubleshoot pilot testing equipment, and to design bench-scale test setups. You will conduct water and wastewater testing in lab and field environments, support start-ups and performance testing, and manage testing projects.

Strong writing and teamwork are essential; travel up to 25% to NY, CA, and OH. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and clear technical documentation are also required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Environmental or Chemical preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong technical writing, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% (NY, CA, OH).
• Comfortable using hand and power tools and servicing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot pilot testing equipment and pilot-scale test setups.
