Job summary

New Jersey Judiciary seeks an organized, detail-oriented individual to join the Office of Probation Services, Intensive Supervision Program in the Southern Regional Office (Cherry Hill, NJ). The role involves field supervision of ISP participants and possible caseloads across vicinages Atlantic, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester and Salem.

Hybrid schedule with up to 2 remote days; requires bachelor’s degree and four years’ experience in supervising offenders, with strong writing,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and four years’ professional experience in supervising offenders.
• Experience in gathering case-related information and providing access to social services.
• Ability to prepare reports and testify for court when required.

Responsibilities

• Provide field supervision of ISP participants in the community.
• Maintain documentation using computerized systems and spreadsheets.
• Work with ISP participants, staff, judges, treatment providers and community agencies.
• Prepare progress reports and assessments for court.
• Coordinate referrals to programs to support rehabilitative goals.
