Job summary

Responsibilities

• Supervise probationers and counsel them on conditions of probation.
• Conduct field contacts at homes, work, school or treatment facilities and prepare reports for the court.
• Perform searches and make arrests when required and support safety objectives.
• Demonstrate proficiency in defensive tactics as required by training academy.
• Attend court appearances and testify as needed.
• Monitor restitution payments and uphold victims’ rights as required by law.
• Coordinate with community resources and treatment providers as needed.
• Maintain identification records and case notes for court review.
