Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a field such as criminal justice, criminology, psychology, sociology, human relations, or business/public administration.
• One year of specialized experience equivalent to CL-23 to work at CL-24.
• Preference for Spanish language ability.

Responsibilities

• Draft and submit reports and maintain investigative files.
• Assist with presentence and bail investigations and records checks.
• Interview witnesses and record information from agencies.
• Coordinate urinalysis collection and maintain test records.
• Maintain custody and transport of testing materials and inventories.
• Testify in court when required.
• Monitor deportation caseload and conduct background checks.
• Provide interpretation when needed for non-English speakers.
