Qualifications

• Essential function: probation officers supervise probationers, meet at home/school/work, conduct interviews and investigations, and prepare reports for court.

Responsibilities

• Supervise probationers and counsel families as part of a probation team.
• Maintain identification records and prepare written court reports.
• Engage probationers through calls, home/work visits, and community contacts.
• Coordinate with resources for probationers based on assessments and conditions.
• Attend case review conferences and testify in court as required.
• Perform searches, collect samples, and locate absconders; monitor restitution and fees.
